Since its inception in 2007,
Silicon Quantum Electronics Workshop (SiQEW) has
been a showcase for state-of-the-art research in semiconductor
qubits in gate-defined quantum dots and donors.
Although historically focused on silicon, contributions on
germanium, gallium-arsenide, or other emerging spin and charge
qubit platforms are welcome.
In 2026, the main workshop (SiQEW2026) is
combined with the newly launched one-day satellite workshop, the
International Conference on Spin Shuttling (ICOSS), focusing on both experimental and theoretical aspects of the
qubit-shuttling process in the semiconductor qubit platform toward
the development of scalable quantum technology. In 2026, the
workshops will be hosted at the beautiful Convention Center in
Incheon, South Korea.
Both oral and poster sessions will open for abstract submission in
spring 2026. In keeping with the workshop's tradition, we
especially encourage young researchers (students and postdocs) to
submit abstracts and deliver presentations. We will select as many
abstracts as possible for oral presentations, and the remaining
accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. There will be no
invited speakers.
